The Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority has approved the transaction announced in April in which Elisa acquires the share capital of Leanware Oy, a Finnish supplier of production, supply chain and logistics software. The transaction is part of implementing Elisa’s strategy for international digital services, and it accelerates the growth of Elisa Industriq’s industrial software business and strengthens Elisa’s footprint among industrial customers in Finland.
As a result of the transaction, the name of the company will change to Elisa Industriq Finland, and Ville Keskinen will continue in his role as CEO.
“This transaction allows us to offer our comprehensive solutions to customers in Finland as well as Elisa Industriq’s over 1,000 customers around the world. The new name conveys our shared vision, while respecting Leanware’s long history and expertise. The names of the Leanware products will remain, and the change of name will not result in any changes in our existing customer solutions”, says Ville Keskinen, CEO of Elisa Industriq Finland.
