THIS IS OUR M&A PROCESS

When integrating a new company into Elisa IndustrIQ, we follow a defined four-step process. The purpose of the M&A process is to ensure strategic alignment and optimized value realization for all involved parties.

Step 1: Research & Connect

In the first step, we identify potential partners and connect with strategically suitable companies that complement our offering. We also examine how the integration will create value for both the new company and Elisa IndustrIQ.

Step 2: Evaluate & negotiate 

The second step is about finding a common understanding of the partnership and the future. We evaluate the merger from a business perspective and decide on its fit and feasibility. Then, we make a valuation and negotiate it.

Step 3: Due diligence & signing

In the third step, we perform due diligence to avoid risks and plan for the integration. The purchase agreement registers details of the acquisition, such as rights and obligations. After signing, we welcome our new group member.

Step 4: Joint value realization

The fourth and final step is to create shared value through the integration. With the people involved in focus, we implement the integration plan for the new company and introduce them to our business system. After that, we’re ready for joint success.

Elisa has been an essential player in the industry since 1882. Since 2021, we have expanded our expertise and knowledge in manufacturing through strategic partnerships and acquisitions. Today, the group consists of the parent company and four acquired companies. Together, we facilitate the realization of smart manufacturing and a sustainable future.

camLine M&A

Germany-based company CamLine provides and markets its own software solutions to enhance operational excellence in high-tech manufacturing industries. Their industry automation systems are based on MES/MOM modules that can be used in semiconductors, electronics, automotive, medical devices, and renewable energies.

 

CalcuQuote M&A

CalcuQuote provides quoting and supply chain software for the electronics industry. Their offering improves customers’ RFQ processes and supply chain management, enabling them to optimize operations and implement sustainable digital solutions. CalcuQuote is based in the United States and has a global customer base.

sedApta M&A

SedApta is an international group with headquarters in Italy. They provide solutions for supply chain planning and execution, manufacturing operations management (MOM), and process optimization. SedApta’s adaptable, interoperable, and agile products are sought after by leading manufacturing companies all over the world.

 

TenForce M&A

The industry software company TenForce is based in Belgium and has broad experience in digitizing business processes. As experts in semantic technology, machine learning, and big data, TenForce delivers innovative software solutions to manufacturers to improve their health, safety, environmental and quality performance (HSEQ).

ELISA INDUSTRIQ ACQUIRES LEANWARE OY

Elisa IndustrIQ acquired Leanware Oy, a Finnish provider of production, supply chain and logistics software for companies. The acquisition of Leanware will strengthen Elisa’s international industrial software business. The acquisition is subject to local regulatory approval and is expected to close in the second quarter of 2024. The acquisition is consistent with Elisa’s strategy to grow digital services internationally. It accelerates the growth of Elisa IndustrIQ’s industrial software business and strengthens Elisa’s foothold in the Finnish manufacturing customer base.
